Tchaikovsky’s last opera Iolanta is one of the most cheerful compositions he had even created. It is full of an optimistic perception of life. The lyric opera “Iolanta” by Tchaikovsky is a story about a blind princess who is cured by love.
The relationships between the two young people are treated with the greatest poetic intensity and linear grace.
